Cisco is an approx. 12 yr old, neutered male, Staffordshire Terrier. We rescued him from the North Central Shelter in February 2013, after he was impounded at the shelter as an "owner surrender". His previous owner had stated that he lost his job and could no longer afford to care for Cisco. He also stated that Cisco used to be a service dog-- and Cisco definitely has the sweet, loving personality/disposition for it!
Cisco is the perfect family dog, who LOVES attention and to cuddle! He is great w/ other dogs (both small & large) and loves everybody he meets. After rescuing him and while at his vet check-up, Cisco greeted strangers like they were his best friends (especially the vet, who he greeted with a wagging tail and kisses!). Don't let his age fool you, as Cisco loves to play with toys and other dogs! Cisco is housetrained and good on the leash (working on some fine tuning!). He is also currently working to re-fresh his commands, which should not take much time at all! He is an extremely neat dog who just wants to hang out, play, and be loved! He would be great for a low-medium household, as he enjoys taking walks, but also just likes to hang out indoors and play with his buddies (both K-9 & human!).
We had a Senior Profile (blood & urine tests) done, and everything came back clean! Cisco is very healthy and ready to find his new family!
He would love a home with other dogs, but that is not a requirement! He would also do fine in most living arrangements (house, apartment, etc.) as long as he gets to go on walks!
Here is a video that was taken while he was at the shelter.-- NEW PICTURES COMING SOON, AS THESE DO NOT DO HIM JUSTICE!
Jingle is a 13 year old, neutered male, approx. 20 pound, purebred Cocker Spaniel!
We rescued Jingle from the East Valley Shelter in December 2009 after his time at the shelter was clearly up and he was at risk of losing his life! When Jingle was impounded at the shelter, he was dirty, matted, and in need of a bath. Thankfully, the shelter staff had that done for him, which made him much more comfortable.
Jingle is a wonderful little guy and will make an excellent family dog. He is currently in a foster home with other dogs (both larger and smaller than him), cats, and a kid (human!) and he is doing excellent with everybody. Jingle's hearing is good, and his eyesight is not too shabby either! He gets around his foster home's house/yard very well, with rarely any problems at all! Jingle is completely housetrained, but a doggy door would be a great option for him too.
Jingle's foster mom describes him as "very gentle and loving" and he LOVES to cuddle. He likes to go on walks and run around in the backyard sometimes, but is not a very high-energied dog. Jingle loves sleeping in the bed with people, and is just an all around extraordinary guy!
Jingle recently had his teeth cleaned and is currently on eye drops for Glaucoma. He also has a slight heart murmur and a slightly enlarged heart, but is otherwise very healthy for his age! Please contact us if you are interested in making Jingle a member of your family!
Bean (black/brown coat) is a 4 year old, spayed female, approx. 15 pound,
Bean and Charlie are extremely sweet dogs, with such silly personalities! They love hanging out indoors, as well as sun bathing out in the yard. Their foster mom just loves them to pieces and says they are very mellow, easy going dogs. Both Bean and Charlie enjoy meeting new people and new dogs. They LOVE other dogs, and are very dog friendly. They are also good with cats and good with older kids.
They would be best adopted out to a family/individual that lives in a house with a yard, as they currently live in that type of setting and are doing very well. They are both housetrained and know how to use a doggy door! Bean and Charlie rarely bark, and are very even tempered. They are still working on their leash training, but are improving very well.
Bean and Charlie MUST be adopted out together, as they are very bonded and get along wonderfully. Both dogs are healthy and now ready to find their new home TOGETHER!
Please contact us if you are interested in adopting BOTH Bean and Charlie! If you are looking for the cutest little couple who are friendly and just enjoy living life, Bean and Charlie are definately a perfect match!
Taco is a 4 year old, neutered male, approx. 15 pound,
Taco is the PERFECT little dog. He is dog friendly (with ALL sizes of dogs!), cat friendly, kid friendly, and is also great with other animals, such as rabbits, tortoises, etc.!
Taco is housetrained (as well as crate trained) and uses the doggy door. He is doing very well with his leash training and is now starting to go on walks with his foster mom, which he just loves to do! His foster family has also taken him to the dog park, where he enjoys making new friends, both dog and human alike! Taco also loves to curl up under the blankets to sleep. Additionally, he has a little dance that he does, which catches the eye of everybody and is very cute!
He LOVES to receive attention from all types of people, enjoys sitting on your lap to be pet, and likes to follow you around the house and watch your daily activities. He's the perfect little companion dog, TV-watching buddy, and best friend! He has never shown any aggression towards anybody, and is an extremely submissive and easy going dog. Taco rarely barks and is a very easy keeper.
Taco is an all around sweet little guy, who is just looking for that special person/family to give him a chance. If you are looking for a little dog who will love you to pieces, please contact us if you are interested in adopting Taco!
